David Millers - Of Counsel

David Millers is a California attorney with over 30 years of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications. The technologies covered in patents that Dr. Millers has obtained for his clients range from simple mechanical devices to quantum computing systems. Some representative technology areas that he has worked with include integrated circuit manufacturing techniques and equipment, integrated circuit packaging, memory (DRAM, SRAM, EEPROM, Flash, FERAM) architectures, microprocessor and DSP architectures, data storage, imaging systems, scanning systems, lighting systems, optical and electrical communications equipment, measurement devices, video and audio encoding/decoding/processing, and internet business methods. .

Before beginning his legal career, Dr. Millers conducted research in theoretical particle physics and taught physics at California State University at Long Beach and the University of California at Davis. Before Innovation Counsel, Dr. Millers was an associate and then a partner at Skjerven Morrill MacPherson, LLP in San Jose, California and subsequently started a patent prosecution practice based in Placerville, California.
