K. Jenny Sung represents clients in domestic and international patent prosecution, intellectual property counseling, and strategic planning.  She has prepared and prosecuted patents in a wide range of technology areas including electronic and electromechanical devices, display devices, optical and telecommunications devices, software, semiconductor devices and fabrication technology, online transactions, green technology, and medical devices. 

Ms. Sung enjoys working with companies to tailor their patent portfolios to their business objectives.  Although she has extensive experience in patent analyses, opinion drafting, due diligence investigations, and litigation support, her practice focuses on patent prosecution and counseling. 

Prior to founding Innovation Counsel LLP, Ms. Sung was at Haynes & Boone (formerly MacPherson Kwok Chen & Heid) and DLA Piper (formerly Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich LLP).  Prior to attending law school, Ms. Sung was a Marketing Engineer with a global semiconductor manufacturer.
